As we read God's Word, He transforms our minds and gives us His Kingdom mindset. His Word tells us to "be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Romans 12:2 KJV). It also tells us that "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17 KJV). As we read God’s Word, we hear the voice of His Spirit, and our faith is subsequently built. Only then will our natural minds become renewed and transformed into Kingdom minds!

When we seek God, He puts a hunger and thirst for righteousness within us, and then satisfies these desires as we do His will (Matthew 5:6). To do God's will becomes our daily bread. He gives us the same mindset that Christ had that says, “to seek God's Kingdom and righteousness is the very sustenance of My life.” When Jesus prayed that the Father would "Give us this day our daily bread," (Matthew 6:11 KJV), He was essentially praying that God would help us to obey His will and do His work each day.
Remember, Jesus had already said that to do the will of the Father was His bread, so He wasn't speaking of natural food in this prayer. No, He was praying that God would help us to be obedient harvesters day by day! This is why right before this line of the prayer, He prays, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10 KJV). The entire heart of this prayer was to see that the will of the Father be done! Our daily bread is to perform God's will in Earth as it is in heaven. Thank God we are not attempting to complete this feat on our own. The sweet Holy Spirit helps us to accomplish God's will.

LIVING A FULFILLING LIFE

Proverbs 3:7-8 entreats us, "Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones" (NIV). Fearing God, or doing His will by obeying, reverencing, and humbling ourselves before Him brings us health and nourishment. This lines up with what Jesus said in John 4:34 when He said that doing God's will brought Him nourishment. We see through these verses, that the key to our satisfaction in life is doing God's will. It's the secret to our fulfilment! The reason why many of us aren't satisfied in life is because we’re not yet fully doing the will and work of our Father.

If we'll be honest, we'll admit that many of us want our own wills to happen, and we want God to bless them, but God requires the exact opposite of us. He wants us to lay down our wills at His feet and submit to Him, just as Jesus did in the garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:42). If you truly want to be satisfied in this life, start seeking God’s will for yourself in prayer, and obey what He reveals to you with the help of the Spirit.

God told us to "commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans" (Proverbs 16:3 NIV). We have to give our very selves away to God in order to receive His infilling in return. The good news is that it's not too late for us to make a change if we haven't been following God’s will or doing His work. Pray the prayer for a Kingdom mind at the end of this blog, and begin to see a change in your everyday life as you start feasting on and obeying God's Word and doing His will. It’s time for you to be fed by the sustaining meal of God’s Kingdom work! Once you get a taste of this celestial food, you’ll never hunger again (Psalm 23:1).

PRAYER FOR A KINGDOM MIND
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You in reverence, asking you to forgive me for the times I’ve not made doing Your will my priority. I thank You that I am forgiven by the blood of Jesus, and free from condemnation (Romans 8:1). I yield myself to You. Renew my mind today, and give me a mind like Christ for the harvest. I thank You that the harvest is already white, and I thank You for how You plan to use me to reach the people You’ve assigned me to (John 4:35-36).

Show me Your perfect plan for my life as I continue to seek You and go about handling Your business. Clothe me with your spirits of humility, reverence, obedience, discernment, and boldness as I live my life for You. I say yes to Your will for me, and I completely give my life to You. Take my carnal mind, and supernaturally transform it into a Kingdom mind. Let Your will be my daily bread. Thank You for hearing and answering my prayer. I know that You will give me Your mind according to Your will (John 14:14). In Jesus’s mighty name, I pray. Amen.
